A Question of Ethics - The Plight of the Minmatar Slaves

So I have been struggling for the last few days as to whether the righteous cause I have been fighting for the past few weeks is actually the right one.   This has come about after numerous sessions working with Amarr defensive supply efforts in Lulm.

During the escort missions there is a lot of time in which you scan and pick up communications between the Minmatar.  One thing that the current state of affairs in Lulm has shown is that the Amarrian empire is showing signs of its old world culture.  This is recognised through the blockades of the stations which no longer allow even medical services to Minmatar pilots.  This is inhuman.

I am also struggling with the warmongering of the supposed enlightened Amarrian high council.  They continue to project the Minmatar people as lower life forms even though my experience has taught me otherwise.   Firstly my experience in a battle with Agharaster a veteran Minmatar Militia pilot who I recently battled.  Even though he had the opportunity to destroy my capsule he instead released me and proceeded to give advise on how I could have done better.   Is this really the actions of an animalistic culture?  To me he seemed quite enlightened and even more so some of the Amarrian's which which I currently fight with.

In the last few days I also met a pilot that has recently rejoined the Minmatar Milita after a long stint in wormholes.   He has returned for one reason to free the slaves and dismantle the blockades that inhibit medical supplies and other basic human necessities from being supplied to the local Minmatar population.  Andiedeath, of Caldari born blood, decided many years ago that the cause of his own people was not always just and like him I have now decided to take the fight to the freedom of the Minmatar people.  for this reason I have decided to join him in his enlightened cause to assist the Minmatar forces in driving back the hoards if unrighteous Amarr.

His quest along with the his old friends in Iron Oxide, Ushra'Khan and the rest of the militia may not be one that is easily won, but I believe is one worth fighting for...

Beat back oppression and Free the Slaves!
