Aura had now passed me onto some career agents.
As exploration has always intrigued me I chose to first speak with Raish Okarema who is the exploration career agent. There is so many things to explore in New Eden already although I was to discover that within universe there was even more to discover.
Mission 1 of 5
After undocking my trusty Impairor, Raish showed me how to use the Sensor Overlay on my ship. I was consumed with awe at the sheer number of anomalies that resided in space that hadn't even noticed until this point... Awe turned to terror, excitement and confusion, what were these anomalies? were they filled with treasure or were they filled with hostile entities that would try to destroy me.
Well I guess I was about to find out...
I warped to a training signature as instructed. The objective was to find some documents in a training container. Unfortunately the container took quite a bit of time to find in space. I eventually found it and transferred the documents to my cargo hold.
From here I remember Aura mentioning a rookie communications channel earlier in my training. So I asked if there was a way I could add containers to my overview. I got 2 prompt replies from Tulia Madeveda and Kirra Evingod who advised I can select an item in space (by right clicking) and adding it to overview. This helped a lot. Thank you for your assistance,
Upon arriving back at station and handing in the documents I was presented with the second mission.
Mission 2 of 5
At the start of second mission I was rewarded with a Tormentor class frigate. I accepted the mission and undocked in the Impairor, only to be greeted with Aura giving me guidance on reshipping to my new and improved Tormentor. I promptly docked up and followed her instructions.
Aura also explained the ship insurance system unfortunately at this stage I only had enough isk to my name to afford the most basic of cover which still used MOST of my funds. I although, thought it best to at least get something for my ship if it was to be destroyed.
The mission took me to meet to Rulie Isoryn from the Sisters Of EVE Corporation. The sisterhood are the residents experts on exploration in New Eden and are the main advisor's to all 4 races in regards to all that is strange and mysterious.
During the mission I was given some supplies that would allow me to scan down sites and also some other items I was told would help me later. Rulie told me about the 3 different types of cosmic signatures and showed me what each of them (data, relic and gas) looked like. Gas sites are one I'm interested in, but noticed a skill I needed to inject, Gas Cloud Harvesting. Unfortunately I looked at the cost of this skill and realised it is well out of my reach for now. My wallet is at 285,000 and the skill book costs about 26 million isk... Are well maybe someday...
