I lay down on the medics table as they hooked me up to a machine that would allow my consciousness to be transferred instantaneously should my body die. I gave one final approval to continue with the procedure and...
I awoke to a strange but still quietly familiar hum of a holographic system and the voice that would now guide through limitless possibilities within New Eden, Aura. My consciousness had also been transferred to a new system and station, Emrayur III - Moon 1 - Royal Amarr Institute. This school would teach me how live my new life as a capsulee with Aura to guide me... Well at least for while as I found out later... it was only to be for a small amount of time.
Being access to a capsule was strange and Aura asked me to undock in it. I warily did as instructed and warped to destination in system... There at my destination was my first ship. An Impairor class rookie ship. The basic ship in the Amarrian fleet. Although quite beautiful and sleek but yet a ship that I found out later that could be quite deadly. On my second outing to space I was asked to take out a couple of pirates that I dispatched without challenge. Almost too easy... Maybe Aura had set it up and they were just training drones? I could never figure it out...
After that mission I was ordered to go to the training academy where I saw a glorious golden yellow fleet of ships Amarrian Frigates, Cruisers and Battleships shimming with the stars. I picked up my clearance papers and headed back to base where I was asked to set a new destination, Pasha VII - Moon 3 - Royal Amarr Institute School.
While travelling Aura showed me how to find capsulee run corporations. I had a brief look at this stage but noticed the largest that showed first was EVE University with 1900+ members. I decided to look into that further the next morning...
